Arts for All is an ambitious creative health programme that brings a daily dose of music, performance and activities into the hospital environment, using art as a tool for healing.Â
A visit from a musician or dancer, a craft class, a trip to our in-house cinema or an opportunity to work with an Artist in Residence can lift spirits, stimulate mind and body and foster social engagement at a time when it’s easy to feel alone.
Arts for All connects patients, staff, local artists and community partners in a shared mission to aid recovery and improve wellbeing. The feedback we receive from participants is testament to the extraordinary power of creativity, connection and community.
The Arts for All programme is a great idea – it’s good to be distracted from your internal monologue when you’re facing the unknown

Your music has brought back really happy memories, so thank you. You've made my day
Patient, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
Attie and I love our weekly visits to West Middlesex Hospital. I can see the patients’ faces light up when he arrives. He's a big hit with the staff, too!

Today you have given me a gift. You brought my dad to visit me through something he taught us, something that was among the most beautiful things imaginable: classical music
