HOSPITAL AT WAR

International conflicts put a huge strain on all parts of society, not least of all hospitals. Large scale war efforts can see staff numbers reduced as they’re sent abroad. It can mean an increase in casualties coming through the doors, and a strain on materials, food and funding. Westminster Hospital played a major role in dealing with issues caused during war, both at home and abroad.
