The NHS Big Tea is on 5th July, the NHS’s birthday. This year, we’re celebrating our NHS staff who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic to care for their local community. We’re inviting you to get involved by sending us a message for staff, or donating to support our staff health and wellbeing (just select ‘NHS Big Tea’ in the drop-down menu).

Our staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have had the most challenging time over the last year, join us to show your support with an outpouring of love!

Challenge events are a great way of getting involved to support us. When you take part in a challenge, it provides the perfect opportunity to involve family and friends in a cause that is important to you. They are also great fun to take part in! Whether it’s cycling, trekking, or running a marathon, we would love for you to do it in aid of CW+.

If you’re after a bit of inspiration, check out our list of races in and around London.

Whether you already have a place, or you have a particular event you’d like to take part in for CW+, get in touch with us to see how we can support you.

An incredible team of CW+ supporters and hospital staff took part in the London to Brighton bike ride, cycling 54 miles and raising £3,077

The Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Samia Chaudhary and a team of 10 friends and colleagues took on a skydive for our Sun and Stars Appeal, raising more than £8,000

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurses Lisa and Lea ran the Hackney Half Marathon, raising £1500 for our Critical Care Campaign

If you don’t fancy a challenge event, there are lots of other creative ways you can support us and our hospitals. From bake sales to pub quizzes, we’ve seen it all!

If you have a great idea, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our fundraising team.

10-year-old Lia Smith raised more than £1,000 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital by taking 112 pictures with 112 horses – one for each day she was cared for on the Unit

Whether it’s a birthday, a wedding or an anniversary, there’s always a reason to celebrate! Why not support CW+ at the same time?

Fundraising in celebration couldn’t be easier, simply set up a fundraising page here and start spreading the word. Don’t forget to let us know about your plans and we can make sure you make the most of your special occasion.

Jane Farrelly and her husband Philip kindly decided to make a donation to our Critical Care Campaign instead of wedding favours. Congratulations to the happy couple!
