OUR MUM AND BABY APP IS ORCHA APPROVED

We are delighted to announce that our Mum and Baby App has been given a rating of 85% from ORCHA, the world’s leading provider of health and care app reviews. The ORCHA team includes experts from all aspects of the health and care app world to ensure that their review process and score is based on a fully rounded and rich analysis of each app. Mum and Baby was assessed and scored based on its performance in the following categories: Data Privacy, Clinical Effectiveness and User Experience.

Mum and Baby is a personal guide for pregnancy, birth and beyond and has been developed by mums, midwives and doctors to provide women with a single source of trusted NHS information for all their maternity needs. Originally created by the maternity team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with CW+, the App has since been developed and adopted by North West London NHS and its six hospitals – Chelsea and Westminster, Hillingdon, Northwick Park, Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea, St Mary and West Middlesex University Hospital.

Recently, the NHS in North West London launched a new digital toolkit to help other local NHS regions transform their maternity services. A case study of the North West London version of Mum and Baby features in this toolkit as an example of successful project development and impact. A copy of the toolkit can be found here.

ORCHA are part of NHS England’s National Innovation Accelerator programme and support many NHS and local government organisations to drive the uptake of digital health amongst their populations. They also support other organisations in the UK and further afield who wish to energise and activate their target audiences around the use of digital health solutions, including schools and universities, charities, pharmacies and major employers.
