West Middlesex University Hospital hosted an action packed day of sport, fitness, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, behind the scenes tours and careers advice at its Open Day on Thursday 5 September. On the CW+ stand, we were joined by artist Supermundane who we have commissioned as part of our £150,000 Sun and Stars Appeal to transform the children’s wards. Staff and patients also got to have a say in our new heritage project, celebrating 100 years of West Middlesex this year.

We were joined by the teams from Harlequins, Sky TV Fitness and our local police who put us through our paces with interactive workout sessions and bleep tests throughout the day! When it was time to cool down, our friends at Akademi entertained staff, patients and visitors with some classical Indian dance. Our resident harpist Mark Levin was also on hand to make the fun-filled day a little more magical. We were honoured to be joined by Councillor Raghwinder Siddhu, Deputy Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Sarah Addenbrooke and Councillor Will Pascall, Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea who has recently chosen CW+ as his Charity of the Year.

Thank you to everyone that helped to make Open Day 2019 a huge success, we were so proud to showcase not only our work, but all the incredible work of our Trust and the staff that keep it running. See more photos of the day below.
