We are delighted that our Mum and Baby App has won Silver in the Digital Health category of the London Design Awards 2020. The app was originally developed by Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and CW+ with our partner Imagineear, and has evolved with new content led by North West London Local Maternity System to deliver on the ambitions of the NHS Better Births report involving mums, midwives and doctors, Royal Colleges and local authorities to provide women with a single source of trusted, clinically-evidenced information on pregnancy, birth and beyond.

The app was recently amended to include up-to-the-minute, clinically-reliable advice for pregnant women and new mothers as soon as it is approved by Public Health England during the Coronavirus pandemic, and has been included in ORCHA’s Covid-19 Health App Library.

The Mum & Baby App is one of over 30 projects within our CW Innovation programme, which officially launched in 2019. CW Innovation, led jointly by CW+ and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, identifies and delivers high-impact initiatives that aim to improve patient care and address some of the real-time challenges that healthcare organisations face today.
