CW+ Conversations is our new arts in health webinar series, which officially launches on 22 January 2021 with our inaugural event entitled Arts in Hospitals during COVID-19: Time to Reflect.
CW+ Conversations will run virtually throughout the year and cover all areas relating to art, design and innovation in the healthcare environment. If you’d like to join the mailing list to receive invitations to these events, please email Abigail.balkitis@cwplus.org.uk.
Our first event on 22 January 2021 brings together leaders in hospital arts programmes to share their experiences and exchange ideas about evaluation during the pandemic. It is organised in association with the Arts, Heritage and Design in Healthcare Network, which is hosted by the NHS National Performance Advisory Group (NPAG).
The pandemic is impacting all in the arts in health sector, with participatory and performance-based arts programmes particularly badly hit. We will ask:

How have we continued to work throughout this time, adapting, innovating our programmes or redeploying activities? How are we assessing the responses to the pandemic and what has not worked? What have we learned that will be useful for evaluation in the future?
The event will include a series of informal mini presentations and provocations from the field, followed by breakout discussions. It will be chaired by CW+ Evaluation Research Associate, Dr Karen Gray. To join this event, register here (please note registrations will be limited to a maximum of 30 people).
