CHELSEA AND WESTMINSTER HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST’S CW INNOVATION PROGRAMME ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH C-SCORE, AN APP DEVELOPED BY CHELSEA DIGITAL VENTURES

24th September 2021. Today, to mark its two-year anniversary, the CW Innovation programme announces a new partnership with C-Score, an app developed by Chelsea Digital Ventures.

Over the last two years, and catalysed by the COVID-19 pandemic, CW Innovation – led jointly by Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and its charity CW+ – has fast-tracked new technologies and innovations across the Trust, harnessing digital healthcare, AI and machine learning to fundamentally change the way care is delivered to patients.

Building on this momentum and looking ahead to the challenges faced across the NHS, the new partnership with C-Score supports staff health and wellbeing and we are jointly working up a wellness programme for patients focusing on their physical and mental wellbeing.

A free-to-use tool that provides a holistic way for users to measure and monitor their general health, C-Score is a collaboration between global technology company Huma and Chelsea Digital Ventures (CDV), a digital-first business spun out of Chelsea FC and the team behind Perfect Play and Blue Fuel.

Chris Chaney, Chief Executive at CW+, said: “We are delighted to be working with C-Score in new and innovative ways to help our staff and patients improve their health and wellbeing. Never before has it been more important to promote healthy living and reduce health inequalities.

“CW Innovation’s expanding portfolio of partnerships with organisations like C-Score, has helped us to respond to the rapidly changing needs of our patients and staff. With digital innovation front and centre at the Trust, we’ve embedded people and processes internally, and attracted strategic partners externally to continue to innovate at pace and address the most urgent challenges faced by healthcare organisations today.”
