Jonathan Callaway has enjoyed a long career in international commercial and investment banking, including working in Germany, New York and Hong Kong. After returning to the UK, he spent nearly 15 years at Deutsche Bank and more than 10 years at Hawkpoint Partners (now Canaccord Genuity). More recently, he has been working as an independent corporate adviser on capital-raising transactions. He was previously a Member of the Board of the British Library, where he remains a member of the Fundraising Advisory Group he helped to set up. He also chaired an ad hoc Board Investment Committee.
Jonathan has been a trustee of several local charities in Wandsworth and Putney, including Wandsworth Museum and Battersea Arts Centre. He was until recently a Justice of the Peace. In his spare time he is a researcher and writer on paper money and financial history, has co-authored two books on paper money and is a Director of the International Bank Note Society.
Jonathan was appointed as a Trustee of CW+ in March 2018.
