We have commissioned London graphic artist Supermundane to create bespoke artwork to transform the children’s inpatient ward at West Middlesex University Hospital, as part of our Sun and Stars Appeal.

Supermundane, also known as Rob Lowe, is a London based artist who creates distinctive, colourful and unique images which play with line, pattern and typography. His work has been published and exhibited worldwide. He is currently working with young patients, their families and staff at the hospital to design and create bespoke wall artwork, signage and colour schemes, which will be installed throughout the ward, creating a fun environment for children being treated in the hospital.

“I am very excited to be working with CW+ on the children’s ward at West Middlesex. I’m a huge fan of the NHS and the power of art to create a positive environment. This is my biggest installation to date, taking in the reception area, corridors bed bays and signage. The site-specific works will use images made by children to create patterns and texture, adding to the personalised feel, whilst my geometric elements will create structure along with the addition of my signature use of colour.”
