Kate is responsible for the implementation of the Volunteering for Health programme, working closely with colleagues in NHS England and NHS Charities Together, as well as with partnerships across England.

Before joining CW+, Kate developed and managed a wide variety of national grant programmes as a senior member of the programme management division at Ecorys UK, leading on programme design and start-up. She is particularly interested in more equitable grant-making practices, and collaboration.

As a trustee, Kate spends a large part of her spare time trying to keep a 1970s adventure playground operational, to spread the joy of risk-taking and unstructured outdoor play among the current generation of local families.
