Transforming West Mid, building a healthier community

Can you help us raise £1.5m to enhance a state-of-the-art facility that will change lives in your community?

Opening in autumn 2026, the Diagnostic, Treatment and Education Centre at West Middlesex University Hospital will be a game-changer for local healthcare, delivering faster diagnoses, world-class cancer and kidney treatment and a better experience for every patient, right on your doorstep.

We’re bringing care closer to home, and we need your support to make it happen.

Why we need you

You can help make every detail count

The NHS is funding the core build, but CW+ is bringing the plus by raising an additional £1.5m to ensure that the new facility reaches its full potential. That includes:

A radiographer scanning a patient using the MRI scanner in the imaging department of West Middlesex University Hospital, London

A cardiac MRI scanner, enabling quicker, more accurate diagnosis of heart conditions

Woman with headscarf receiving chemotherapy as a nurse attends to her

Specialist chemotherapy and dialysis chairs – designed for comfort, dignity and control

Woman interacting with a colourful digital artwork across four large screens. Her left arm is reaching out towards the swirling colours

Soothing artwork and digital installations to ease anxiety and lift spirits

Hospital staff taking a break in the garden at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

Green spaces and a therapeutic roof terrace, designed with wellbeing in mind

Man with a beard, glasses and an olive green jumper sitting at a work desk, smiling at the camera

A new education centre, helping to attract and retain the very best NHS staff

Every donation brings us closer to delivering a facility that meets the needs of the people it serves.

How you can help

Buy your brick today

Leave a message on our virtual wall – remember a loved one, celebrate our NHS staff, or simply show you care. Every donation, big or small, takes us a step closer to our target.

And, for a generous donation of £250, your name will also be featured on our Founders’ Wall in the new centre.

Why it matters

Outstanding healthcare, without leaving the borough

The new centre is designed to meet the needs of our growing community, offering more tests, faster results and a better environment for care.

It will:

  • increase diagnostic and treatment procedures by 57% – that’s nearly 85,000 more appointments each year
  • reduce waiting times and deliver earlier diagnoses and treatment for cancer, renal dialysis and heart disease
  • offer best-in-class cardiac imaging – Hounslow currently has the highest heart failure admission rate in England
  • help people stay close to loved ones during care by reducing the need to travel out of borough

Cutting-edge care, rooted in the heart of our community.

This new facility supports our wider vision to deliver high-quality, accessible care closer to home, and we are proud to play a leading role in strengthening and improving NHS services in West London. I look forward to seeing the positive impact that it will have for our patients and staff for years to come
