The NHS is funding the core build, but CW+ is bringing the plus by raising an additional £1.5m to ensure that the new facility reaches its full potential. That includes:

A cardiac MRI scanner, enabling quicker, more accurate diagnosis of heart conditions

Specialist chemotherapy and dialysis chairs – designed for comfort, dignity and control

Soothing artwork and digital installations to ease anxiety and lift spirits

Green spaces and a therapeutic roof terrace, designed with wellbeing in mind

A new education centre, helping to attract and retain the very best NHS staff

The new centre is designed to meet the needs of our growing community, offering more tests, faster results and a better environment for care.

It will:

increase diagnostic and treatment procedures by 57% – that’s nearly 85,000 more appointments each year
reduce waiting times and deliver earlier diagnoses and treatment for cancer, renal dialysis and heart disease
offer best-in-class cardiac imaging – Hounslow currently has the highest heart failure admission rate in England
help people stay close to loved ones during care by reducing the need to travel out of borough
