CW+ has published the 30th story in its Thirty Stories series, which was created to mark and celebrate the charity’s Thirty at Thirty fundraising campaign.
Inspiring stories from our hospital community
Thirty Stories is a powerful collection of first-hand accounts from people whose lives have been touched by Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and CW+. Together, their stories bring to life why supporting the Trust is so important – now and in the future.
From experiences of life-saving treatment, through testimonies from artists and musicians who work with patients every day, to staff speaking about the difference the charity makes, Thirty Stories shines a light on the incredible people who make up our hospital community.
Continuing the conversation
Since launching the new CW+ website in September 2024, we have been sharing filmed and written stories that capture life in and around the Trust. Completing the series is a significant moment, but our storytelling doesn’t stop here – we will continue to celebrate the experiences and achievements that shape our hospitals and inspire our supporters.
Linda’s story: courage, care and the impact of donations
The 30th story is a particularly inspiring one. Linda, who has faced cancer three times and received treatment at West Middlesex University Hospital, speaks movingly about her experience and the outstanding support she received from staff. Linda is also the face of the charity’s Christmas campaign, and her story reflects the impact that donations can have on patients and families across the Trust.
Voices from our hospitals
The Thirty Stories series features patients, families, staff and supporters from across Chelsea and Westminster and West Middlesex University hospitals, offering personal perspectives on care, creativity and community.
