THOMAS’S KENSINGTON CHOIR VISITS CHELSEA AND WESTMINSTER HOSPITAL

Share

On Monday 3rd December, we were lucky enough to be joined by a choir from local school, Thomas’s Kensington for an afternoon of festive carol singing.

The group performed for patients, staff and visitors in the main atrium, before heading to the wards to perform especially for patients and staff who were unable to make it to the main event.

Thanks to the generosity of parents, carers and visitors, Thomas’s performance raised an incredible £469 towards our Critical Care Campaign to transform the Adult and Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The new units will be able to treat 650 more critically ill patients a year in a world-class environment, and we expect the new facilities to be fully operational by 2020.

Many of the pupils at Thomas’s will have been born or treated at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, so our Critical Care Campaign is one that the children and their families keep close to their hearts, and have proudly supported in the past.
